Larry Makwar Mellbin
SURFACE DESIGN STUDENT
Hello,
my name is Larry Makwar Mellbin, and I am an aspiring surface designer currently studying at YRGO in Gothenburg. I have a deep passion for design and I am particularly interested in automotive and product design.
I live in Gothenburg with my wife and daughter, I am an hobby photographer and love capturing the beauty of the world around me. In my free time, I also enjoy gaming and cycling, and I have recently taken an interest in climbing.
For me, design is all about creating something that is not only visually pleasing, but also serves a purpose. I believe that good design is both functional and beautiful, and I strive to create designs that balance these two elements.
As a detail-oriented individual, I am dedicated to exploring every aspect of a design in order to create something truly exceptional. I believe that every detail, no matter how small, plays a role in the overall impact of a design. It is this mindset that drives me to constantly push my own boundaries.
One of the most important lessons I have learned on my journey as a surface designer is to "kill my darlings." This means that I must be willing to let go of ideas or designs that I may be personally attached to if they do not serve the greater purpose of the project. It can be difficult, but it is essential in order to create the best possible outcome.
Through my portfolio, I hope to showcase my passion and skills as a surface designer. I invite you to explore my work and to see for yourself the dedication and creativity that I bring to every project.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me and my work. I look forward to the opportunity to collaborate with you on future design projects.
